Varija is a B.Com. Graduate and perfect Home manager

She joined Inner Wheel club of Shimoga North in 2006. As a Club President she bagged 10 awards, including two special awards at the District level.

In 2014-15, she entered District Executive Committee as District ISO and served all posts before taking over as District Chairman.

Her hobby is writing small articles in Regional papers/magazines. She is also passionate social worker. She is on the Board of Vipra Souharda Sangha, Shimoga and serving as Vice President since 2014.

Her husband Jagadeesh is a retired Senior Manager of Canara Bank. They are blessed with two sons. Arjun is a software engineer in WIPRO and married. Ajay is Thermal Engineer in US. Grandson Dyutir completes her orbit of happiness
